Kaspersky Lab created India's largest man-made seashell to launch Kaspersky Pure. This larger than life seashell, fabricated by Kaspersky Lab, measures 8 feet in diameter and has been entered in the Limca Book of Records for the category of the largest man-made seashell for any product launch in India. The launch event was managed by Strategic Global Events and was held at The Lalit InterContinental in Mumbai on Feb 24.

Commenting on the objective of creating India's largest man-made seashell, Jagannath Patnaik, Director, Channel Sales, Kaspersky Lab, South Asia said, "The launch event was conceptualised around the theme of the formation of a pearl which is naturally pure, and is a result of the robust self-protection by the oyster wherein it does not allow any sand or dust particle to enter the shell. The launch of Kaspersky Pure was done in style with a specially created man-made seashell. Our idea was to relate cyberspace with the seashell, cyber crime and threats with sand particles and Kaspersky Pure with the Pearl, as the pearl represents qualities like genuineness, cleanliness and purity. It is the ultimate protection against digital threats."
About 100 people attended the launch event. Alongside the launch of Pure, Kaspersky also announced the launch of their new and refreshed Corporate Product Line for Business customers. The company has recently appointed 4 new national distributors for its enterprise business in India.
