More than 200 women in Sydney put their best heels forward broke the Guinness World Record for most number of people participating in a stiletto sprint.

The event was held at Circular Quay in downtown Sydney with the Harbour Bridge as a backdrop attracted a large crowd.

265 sole-sisters raced almost the length of a football field. Brittney McGlone, who is also a 400-meter hurdler, came in first place. The 18-year-old was part of a team that went to the 2008 World Junior Championships in Poland.

McGlone won a golden stiletto and prize money.
